About Tri-Valley Music Scene
Connecting musicians, venues, and fans across the Tri-Valley β one show at a time.
Music Unites β and that’s exactly what Tri-Valley Music Scene was built to do.
A thriving local music scene, for everyone
Tri-Valley Music Scene exists to make live music in Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville easier to find, support, and be part of. We believe a vibrant music community strengthens everyone in it β musicians, venues, and fans alike.
Every band listed, every show posted, and every venue featured is part of that mission. Listings are always free. The platform is sustained by businesses and venues who believe in what live music does for this community.

The story behind Tri-Valley Music Scene
Founder of Tri-Valley Music Scene, Pleasanton Music Scene, and Musicians & Bands Looking for Musicians (M&BL4M) β a global musician collaboration platform.
Tri-Valley Music Scene grew out of a personal need. Mark and his wife Jeanine perform together as the acoustic duo J&ME β and finding performance opportunities in the Tri-Valley meant piecing together information from a dozen different places. There had to be a better way.
What started as a personal tool became a platform, and the platform became a community. Today TVMS connects thousands of musicians, venues, and fans across five cities β and continues to grow.
Mark brings a rare combination of perspectives to this work. As Art Director of The Music Paper in the early 1980s, he was immersed in the music industry at its grassroots level. A long career as an Interactive Creative Director followed β working with high-tech startups, national laboratories, and major organizations on brand identities, digital experiences, and web platforms. Clients have included Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore Valley Open Campus, the High Performance Computing Innovation Center, and two local chambers of commerce. As a performing guitarist and composer with music on Spotify, Apple Music, and streaming platforms worldwide, he understands the musician’s experience from the inside.
TVMS is built on that foundation: community first, always free for musicians, and designed to make the Tri-Valley’s music scene more connected and sustainable for everyone in it.
