Common questions
Is listing really free?▼
Yes — always. A full directory listing costs nothing. Optional promotion is available if you want additional reach, but your profile and calendar presence are free forever.
What if I’m not based in the Tri-Valley but play here?▼
TVMS covers Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville. If you perform at venues in these cities, you belong in the directory — even if you live elsewhere.
How do I get my shows on the calendar?▼
Use the Submit Your Gig form. Venues submit shows too, so yours may already be listed. If you’re not sure, submit it anyway and we’ll merge any duplicates.
Can I update my profile after submitting?▼
Yes — just resubmit the form anytime. New info replaces old. Updates are reviewed before they go live, so there may be a short delay before you see the changes.
What does “inactive” mean?▼
A profile is active when it has a listed Tri-Valley show within the past 24 months, or one coming up. Inactive profiles stay on the site, shown dimmed, and your next listed show makes you active again. More in How it works.
Can TVMS help with booking?▼
